Last year was a glorious year - we had sun most days and there was plenty of hiking. This year, May and June were amazing as well, with long warm and sunny days. And then the rain set in… We had a lot of rain - and I mean a lot, some of which quite heavy. Almost daily. And thunderstorms.

Pouring rain at home this week

Over the past few months, I have been building this website and associated social media accounts. All are growing slowly, but steadily. And as I look out of my window and see pouring rain I thought I’d add these blogs to the website. They will feature a variety of topics, but pretty much all will be about hiking, nature and wildlife. We also have a motorhome called Yogi, which I will use to get to trails, so you may see some of that as well.

I will do more videos over time, so please feel free to hop over to my YouTube channel and watch those. And if you like them, please do click like and subscribe to the channel - that helps me a lot to grow it :-) You can also enter your email address on the landing page of this website, so you won’t miss out on any additions to the website.

This is also a good time to thank those of you who follow me, especially on Instagram and Twitter (or shall I say X now? ;-)! Some of you are liking pretty much every photo I post, and I really appreciate that. I do my best to return the favour - after all I follow you because I like your photos!
