Waiting for spring & summer… and turning into a berry cook ;-)

Ok, I have talked about the winter here, and how much we love it. And it is indeed wonderful, although at the moment temperatures hover around zero Celsius, and quite a bit of snow has melted, then refrozen. There is a bit of dirt in the snow here and there, and it is not fluffy any longer.

With limited outdoor time, I was looking for something nice to bridge the colder months while waiting for the hiking season to start again. I mentioned before that I made all sorts of berry jams, berry liqueurs, lingonberry tarts, etc. So, I thought I’d do even more, and share my creations online.

Homemade blueberry liqueur is a great winter warmer

If you are curious about my various berry creations, feel free to hop to any of the social media profiles and have a look. I keep adding stuff as I cook, bake, create - and eventually plan to make it a cook/baking book :-)

At the moment I am using mostly frozen berries and jams from last summer/autumn, and I can’t wait for the coming berry season to get loads of fresh berries again!

Stay warm and safe for the rest of the winter (if you are in the northern hemisphere) or enjoy the summer (if you are on the southern hemisphere)!

Hej då!
